After a great night’s sleep in the main floor king-sized bedroom with a glass enclosed walk in shower, take time to explore the fully equipped kitchen to plan the next cooking session – or treat yourself at one of the many nearby local restaurants.
In this open floorplan, natural light bathes the 2 story vaulted great room, with windows galore. Comfy sofa and chairs enhance the relaxed theme of the Escape Hatch. Binge watch your favorite shows on the large 65″ LED Smart TV, or surf the web via the hi speed Internet service. Plus, there are 3 additional Smart TVs – in case one is not enough!
Upstairs you’ll find a 2nd king sized bedroom with a private screened porch overlooking the State Forest. Great for sunset watching with your favorite beverage.
In the bright and cheery 3rd bedroom, there are 2 twin beds – just off of the upstairs TV loft area.
Pergola covered parking in the private driveway, bicycle rack, another parking spot, natural gas grill and an outdoor shower enhance the outdoor experience. Beach chairs are located on the outdoor back porch.
Walk or run on the Trail System, stretch at the Workout stations throughout the neighborhood, or pull up a chair near one of the 3 pools in The Gathering Place.
After all, it’s your adventure! Do it all – or do nothing.

We felt right at home! I should include this was our second visit and everything was comfortable, the location is awesome and right across from the pool! We visit Seaside every year and Wade and Susan always offer great places to try and are all responsive if we needed anything. We truly appreciate their home and our memories made there. You won’t be disappointed at the escape hatch. 🙂

Escape Hatch was the perfect spot for our family of 5 for a week of relaxation and recharging prior to our kids going back to school. The location was great, pool immediately across the street, the beach a quick walk or golf cart ride away, and several different entertainment areas to shop and eat close by! Wade was a great host, very responsive and helpful. We will definitely visit again!

Very enjoyable week with family at the Escape Hatch. Loved the home and it’s location to the pool and the nature trail. We biked throughout the local area as well as the beach daily. The home was comfortable and relaxing for adults as well as teenagers. It had everything we needed in the kitchen as well as for the beach. The front porch was perfect to watch the sunrise and the upper porch on the back allowed us to see the fireworks at Seaside without leaving the house! Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We stayed on the property June 17-24. It was just as beautiful as the photos, decorated so cute and very clean! The home was stocked with everything you could possibly need, they really thought of everything. The location was great, right across the street from the neighborhood pool, short walk to the beach and close to seaside. Nature Walk is a lovely family friendly neighborhood. And the communication with the owners Susan and Wade was very easy, as well as check in. We had a memorable vacation and I would definitely stay here again.

It is our 3rd time at Seaside/Seagrove but our first at Nature Walk, my family and I were impressed with the quality of the amenities and particularly enjoyed our walks and bicycle rides to the beach.
Wade’s house is brand new and has everything you need and would expect for a flawless week at the beach.

We had an amazing week getting to know the Florida gulf coast.. we had heard a lot about the beautiful beaches, and that was certainly the highlight of the trip. Crystal clear water and soft sandy beach.. it doesn’t get much better than that! Staying at The Escape Hatch was an ideal choice for our family. We loved everything about this place: Comfy beds, casual common areas and the lovely screened porch. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, and of course, the beach chairs and boogie boards were great. Our week was just perfect!

Excellent location! The community pool is across the street and the walking path to the beach was almost directly outside the backdoor. I don’t think there is a better location in this community. It also has more parking than other houses in the area.
Literally everything you need is in the house including a first aid kit, cooling gel for sunburns, beach chairs, pickleball set, boogie boards, sand toys, beach towels, laundry detergent, and plenty of kitchen utensils and dishes.
It was a great home base for exploring the walking paths, beaches, and the Watercolor area.
Wade was responsive to any questions and provided plenty of information beforehand and during our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation at Wade and Susan’s! The house had everything we needed, was immaculate and comfortable, and so close to everything! A short drive to the beach, a walk directly across the street to the pool, yet the area was very private, and felt safe! Wade was very accommodating, answered all of my questions, gave recommendations, and had everything we needed at the house, waiting for us! It was so wonderful to not have to bring anything for the beach because everything was there! It was an amazing experience!

My 26 year old son and I spent 8 days at the Escape Hatch. This was my fourth stay (my son’s second). We love this property. Great location, beautifully appointed and very clean. The neighborhood is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Wade and Susan are wonderful hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This home is exactly as described in the posting. This beautiful home is clean and has everything you need to enjoy a week at the beach. They beach chairs, umbrella, body boards and rafts were so great to have. We spent many mornings and evenings enjoying the porch and the girls enjoyed the pool as well. The nature path was great for morning runs. The location is top notch being less than a mile to gorgeous beaches, Seaside and even the grocery and ice cream. Wade was a wonderful host and answered our questions promptly. He is definitely a great host. We will definitely be back!
